Meagan recognizes that a patient is not just a number, but an individual with specific needs and goals tailored to their life. She is dedicated to using an evidence-based and patient-centered approach in order to best fit these needs while upholding their autonomy. Her favorite part about physical therapy is educating patients about their body and movement so they can live their best life.
Meagan earned her Bachelor of Arts in biology and psychology as well as her Doctorate in physical therapy from The College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN. She has also obtained her certification in blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy. Meagan has clinical experience in a variety of settings including, but not limited to: orthopedics, all levels of athletes, neuromuscular rehab, and acute care.
Believing that her patients deserve the highest quality care, Meagan will be starting her post-doctoral, orthopedic residency program in January of 2021.
In her free time, Meagan enjoys sampling Minneapolis’ many coffee shops and restaurants, bonfires with family/friends, and winning cribbage against her wife. She stays active through running, biking, soccer, yoga, XC skate skiing, and hiking with her pups Benny and Nona.
