Allen Tran MS, RD, CSSD is one of our Motion UT partners. He is a trained chef and registered dietitian with a board certification in sports nutrition. His interests and expertise focus on real-world, applied solutions taken from the chef’s perspective to make tasty food but reach nutrition and performance/general wellness goals.
Allen is currently the Sports Dietitian & Executive Chef for the Boston Red Sox. He was formerly of US Ski & Snowboard, and has over 7 years of experience working with elite athletes to not only perform their best at the highest level, but also recover optimally from inevitable injuries and to return to sport/normal activity.
Allen has interests in nutrition for injury recovery, culinary nutrition, dietary supplements, and an evidence-based and personalized approach to the various diet trends in the world today. Allen spends his time between Boston and Utah seeking the best mountain bike trails and also seeking the best new recipes to try! Allen is currently accepting new clients and can work both virtually and in-person (when he is in Utah). He’s here to help keep you in Motion.
